Volunteering

Diocesan policy 4120 requires volunteers working with youth must have on file with the Diocese of Columbus Safe Environment Office:

• A current Bureau of Federal investigation background check
• Every school volunteer must complete a criminal background check.
• Documentation of attendance at a Protecting God’s Children workshop
• St. Josephine Bakhita School is committed to the safety of our children. All school volunteers must complete the program.

Bus Transportation

Request a bus through the Columbus City Schools. No other districts provide buses to St. Josephine Bakhita School.

Athletics

Athletics are offered for students in grades 4-8 through St. Josephine Bakhita Parish as part of the CYO. Offerings currently include:

• Fall: Soccer (starts before school), Football, Volleyball
• Winter: Basketball
• Spring: Baseball, Softball, Track & Field
